Signed by artist and dated 1978 on first prelim. This series of collages evolved over a period of more than seven years. In early 1969 Slinger and her lover the film-maker, writer and Midian collaborator Peter Whitehead shot footage and stills of themselves at Lilford Hall in Northamptionshire. The projected film never materialised and the relationship broke down but Slinger went on to develop the photographs and, using collage techniques, created this vivid psychodrama of 99 images. Scarce.
