Gwendoline and the Missing Princess was the most explicit of John Willie's Gwendoline comic strips. Featuring nudity, it was originally issued as a series of photo prints. When Willie gave the originals to Irving Klaw to publish, Klaw became concerned that the nudity would get him into trouble so he commissioned fellow fetish artist Eric Stanton to paint clothes over the original illustrations (which he did under protest). 
 
This French text edition restores the original art, with additional notes and studies by Willie.
