Best known as the artist of the Rider Wait/Smith Tarot, this new book on Pamela Colman Smith is written from a very different and interesting perspective that concentrates on her years in Cornwall and why she converted from mysticism to Catholicism in 1911, removing herself from vibrant London to the isolated Lizard in the west of Cornwall. Pamela died in Bude in 1951.
